"Ajogwu Boluwatife Vincent popularly and professionally known as Major AJ is an Afro-Fusion Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter. He was born on the 8th of April and hails from Okpokwu Local government in Benue State. He spent most of his early years in Kainji town (Niger State), Ijebu land, Ilorin and Lagos city. His love for music started from an early age through his church choir and listening to Hip-hop and Afrobeats. However, he could not pursue music professionally until 2019 when he was done with school.

Major AJ was born on the 8th of April in Iperu-remo in Ogun State. His father was a soldier and his mother was an English tutor. As the only child, he grew up following his Mother and Grand-mother for rehearsals in church which birthed his love for music. He attended University of Ilorin where he studied Computer Science and as time went on, he fell in love with HipHop Genre and listened to the likes of Lil Wayne, Ice Prince, Choc Boys and so many others which garnered his love for Rap Music and he ventured into rapping. He has headlined various shows while in school ranging from Dremo Campus Tour Unilorin, Trybe Ark Fest, Ilorin Walk on Water Fashion Show and lots more. In March 2019, Major AJ dropped his hit single "One Take" then went ahead and released a couple of other great singles. Major AJ's sound is rooted in authority as his father was a soldier before he passed. He makes sure that his fathers legacy liveed on through his sound. Major AJ's music has earned him various accolades back in school and around him including Unilorin Hype Next Rated and Artist of the year, Kwars Outstanding Youths Award, Henessy VS Class Lagos Finalist 2018 just to mention a few. Everything Major AJ has done with his music is just a tip of the Iceberg of what he set out to do with his sound in coming years."
